Understanding policy
- For how long am I covered under the policy?
- The coverage period starts as soon as your Paysense loan is active. And the coverage period ends with the end of the loan or maximum up to 60 months from loan start date based on tenure opted.
- Who all are covered under the insurance plan?
- The loan-applicant or the user applying for the loan will be the one that is Insured.
- What are the benefits of insurance? And what are the conditions in which the insurance benefits can be claimed?
- Payouts in case of accidental death, permanent partial disability or a permanent total disability (Principal loan amount, Max upto Rs 10,00,000)
- EMI protection: In case of
- Continuous hospitalization of 7 days (1 EMI, Max upto Rs 1,00,000)
- Continuous hospitalization of 10 days (2 EMIs, Max upto Rs 1,00,000 each)
- Continuous hospitalization of 15 days (3 EMIs, Max upto Rs 1,00,000 each)
- Daily hospital allowance in case of a hospitalization (Max upto Rs 5000 per day)
- Can I make changes to my insurance policy?
- You can only add or change the details of the nominee after availing the Insurance Policy.
- How to add a Nominee to my insurance?
- Go to www.acko.com and Login with your mobile number registered on Paysense and enter the OTP you receive.
- Under the ‘Claims’ section, select ‘Paysense Claims’, which will take you to the policy detail page.
- When clicked on the particular session (which can be searched with the help of the date filter above), the details of the session will appear.
- Click on “Add Nominee” and follow the next few steps, and the Nominee will be registered with Acko.
